Growing up in a family where education wasn’t just a profession but a purpose, Dustin witnessed the real-life challenges teachers face — from budget cuts to overworked classrooms. As a former Walker County School Board member, Dustin brings firsthand understanding of what our schools need, and a deep respect for the educators and support staff who shape our children’s futures.

- Champion Competitive Pay – Fight to ensure Alabama teachers receive salaries that reflect their dedication and talent — and keep the best educators in our schools.
- Protect Retirement Benefits – Safeguard the long-term security of our educators, support staff, and bus drivers with a strong and reliable retirement system.
- Expand Classroom Resources – Push for increased state funding for school supplies and technology, so educators aren’t forced to pay out-of-pocket for what their students need.
- Empower Teacher Voice in Policy – Ensure teachers have a real say in shaping education policy. Their input is vital — and Dustin knows their voice matters because it shaped his own.
